Connect Cause is now accepting donations to support those in western North Carolina who were affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. We will deliver the donations at the end of the week and are also working to set up satellite communications to help people who have been without cell service contact their loved ones.
“The devastation that was caused by Hurricane Helene is absolutely heartbreaking,” said Connect Cause CEO Ahmad Eied. “So many people in that area have lost everything, and washed-out roads have others trapped with no means of communication. We are coordinating the donation of critical items to try and help as much as possible.”
Any donations are welcome and can be dropped off at the Connect Cause headquarters (9001 Aerial Center Parkway, Suite 110, Morrisville, NC 27560) Monday-Thursday of this week between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Donations will be taken to western North Carolina on Friday.
